Hubei Zhongkui Fishing Tackle Co., Ltd. is one of the largest and most influential Chinese fishing tackle companies, with a remarkable 3,800+ franchise stores across China. The company traces its roots back to 1995, when founder Gao Jiaquan started a small workshop called “Diaoyuwang”in Fushui Town, Anlu City, Hubei Province, handcrafting fishing rods.

The company was formally registered in December 2001 as “Anlu Diaoyuwang Fishing Tackle Co., Ltd.” and rebranded to Hubei Zhongkui Fishing Tackle Co., Ltd. in July 2017. Today, with annual revenue of approximately ¥57.75 million (2023), 223 employees, and three production factories across 216 mu (14.4 hectares) in Wuhan and Anlu, Zhongkui has grown into a vertically integrated fishing tackle powerhouse.

Manufacturing & R&D

Zhongkui operates three dedicated factories:

The company holds 41 patents including innovations in waterproof ventilated tackle boxes, anti-tangle rod guides, ultra-lightweight rod construction, heated rod handles, and rotatable rod seats. In April 2025, Zhongkui entered a strategic partnership with Beijing Haoyunda Zhichuang Technology to explore lightweight, high-strength, eco-friendly rod materials.

Fishing Rods: The company offers a comprehensive rod lineup including the popular Master Series, Taibaiseries, Zhansha Nianyubig-head carp rods, and premium “Hei Wuqing”black pit rods.
