Nantong Xindike expands PE braided line range for global anglers

Nantong Xindike Monofilament Technology Co., Ltd. is rolling out an upgraded PE braided fishing line series engineered for international buyers seeking high-performance superline at competitive price points. Based in Nantong, Jiangsu province, the manufacturer has refined its ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) weaving process to deliver what it describes as significantly improved bite detection and hookup ratios.

The company’s latest PE braided line features a breakthrough in fine braiding technology that the firm says transmits strikes with greater sensitivity than conventional constructions. Each strand is produced through specialized processing that enhances corrosion resistance and stability under ultraviolet radiation, addressing two of the most common complaints among saltwater and tropical anglers. A proprietary five-color dyeing treatment further protects the line from UV degradation and extreme cold, extending service life in harsh environments.

Founded in 2005 after its founding team identified a domestic gap in monofilament research, Xindike has grown into one of China’s most diversified specialty fiber producers. Its product portfolio spans polyester, nylon, polypropylene, and polyethylene monofilaments used across fishing, agriculture, construction, and industrial applications. The fishing line division alone covers nylon, fluorocarbon, and PE constructions, with braided offerings ranging from standard four-strand to high-end 16-strand configurations designed for deep-sea angling.

The Nantong-based firm offers its PE braided line in customizable colors and packaging, a flexibility that has helped it win private-label business from distributors in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Specifications span 1.0# to 8.0# (0.16mm to 0.50mm), with strand counts of 4, 8, 12, and 16 available. Higher-strand constructions, including a 12-strand variant marketed specifically for offshore fishing, feature enhanced bite resistance and smoother casting surfaces compared to 8-strand alternatives.

PE braided lines have become a cornerstone of China’s fishing tackle export sector, where manufacturers leverage the country’s deep UHMWPE fiber supply chain to compete against Japanese and American brands. Xindike positions its products as carrying tensile strength roughly five times that of nylon monofilament, with abrasion resistance that appeals to anglers pursuing toothy species and reef-dwelling targets.

The company has signaled that international buyers and OEM partners can request tailored specifications, color combinations, and spool formats directly through its Nantong headquarters. As global demand for braided superline continues to grow alongside the popularity of bass fishing and saltwater sportfishing, Chinese manufacturers like Xindike are betting that technical refinement and customization flexibility will erode the price premium long commanded by legacy Western brands.
