Ocean Park Corporation heads to Hong Kong Licensing Show 2026

Ocean Park Corporation, the Hong Kong-headquartered theme park and conservation operator, has been confirmed as an exhibitor at the upcoming HKTDC Hong Kong International Licensing Show, reinforcing its growing push into character licensing and brand collaboration across the region.

According to the exhibitor profile hosted on the Hong Kong Trade Development Council event portal, Ocean Park Corporation has signalled participation across two HKTDC-organised showcases in 2026: Home InStyle 2026 and the Hong Kong International Licensing Show & Asian Licensing Conference 2026. The dual presence suggests a strategic alignment between consumer lifestyle licensing and the broader entertainment and character IP segments the company has actively cultivated since its 2023 restructuring.

For international buyers and licensing agents, the move positions Ocean Park among a select group of Asian originators with proprietary character portfolios seeking global partners. The park’s existing stable of mascots and themed properties has already attracted manufacturing deals in plush, apparel and stationery categories, primarily through Hong Kong-based intermediaries.

Industry observers note that the Licensing Show remains one of the most efficient platforms for Asian rights holders to meet European and North American licensees face-to-face, particularly for SMEs without dedicated international sales infrastructure. Ocean Park’s return to the show floor comes at a time when several mainland Chinese IP holders, including animation studios and museum brands, have accelerated their licensing export programmes.

The Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2026 is scheduled to run alongside the Asian Licensing Conference, offering exhibitors a combined platform for deal-making, trend briefings and property showcases. Visitor pre-registration typically opens in the first quarter of the show year through the HKTDC’s official channels.
